1770 Colonial American Massachussets or Connecticut Coin Silver Punch Strainer

Offered here is a late 18th century historic and important colonial coin silver punch strainer by an unknown maker around 1760-70. Possibly Boston, but more likely one of the smaller towns in Massachusetts or Connecticut. Unmarked for maker, but with a beautiful period monogram for 'LBB'?. Beaded milled rim. Heavy gauge handles. A couple of file marks where this one has been tested.
