1791-1793 Federal sugar urn by Daniel Van Voorhis and Garret Schanck on a square pedestal base. Size is larger than average (shown at center). Made in New York at No. 7 Queen-Street, corner of King-Street. Hammered interior. Four applied beaded rims.
Condition is good commensurate with age and use. Urn tilts slightly but seems original. Surface has not been buffed or over-polished and has the original patina. Minimal wear to engraving and marks.
Height is about: 11.25"
Weight is: ~400 grams
