Stunning Arts and Crafts dated 1881 Philadelphia chamberstick in hand hammered and riveted sterling silver by Dominick & Haff. This is retailed by J E Caldwell & Co. The design features a beautifully hammered and patinated surface wavy strap handle. Marked on the bottom for: Dominick & Haff, J. E. Caldwell, STERLING, and '35'. Consider for a moment that this chamberstick was made at a singular moment in time-- 1881-- the year before electricity was invented. Condition is superb with no noted issues.
