1896 Set of Four (4) Sterling Silver Candlesticks by London Maker Gulienetti & Co (Joseph Gulienetti) - English

Hallmarked in London in 1897 by Gulienetti & Co (Joseph Gulienetti), this impressive set of four 'Adam' style antique sterling silver candlesticks. This matched neoclassical set is highly decorative, standing on square bases and featuring removable bobeches. Each candlestick measures 10.5" (26.5cm) tall, by 3.75" (9.5cm) wide and deep, and they have been filled for balance and given felt bottoms.
All components are marked with 'JG' maker mark, lion passant, london leopard, and date letter 'a'. All pieces are present and original. Overall condition is very good with a couple of dents and small subtle splits at a few corners (example shown). Sturdy and heavy with a fine finish.
