1900 Sterling Silver Jewelry Casket Art Nouveau Repousse Horses

1900 American sterling silver jewelry casket with horse motifs in Art Nouveau repousse on every surface. Stamped twice for maker 'RC' and '925'. Box is fabric lined with a navy cushioned interior surface. Stands on four legs with a scallop motif. Lid is hinged and opens with a silk ribbon brake. Condition is overall good. Some glue on the interior fabric especially at the lid. Lid closes and latches but not perfectly. Legs were never made to be particularly strong and could use reinforcement.

Dimensions: 4.5" x 5" x 6.5". Total weight is 780 grams
