1945 Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Sugar Bowl

A simple and elegant Georg Jensen two handled sugar bowl from the 1940's. The quality is unmistakable when you feel it in your hand. Extremely heavy gauge and sturdy build. A simple flat bottom and sparsely decorated handles. Simple elegance in design. Classic Jensen silversmithing. Made in the United States. Hallmarked with Georg Jensen hallmark, USA, 182, and the maker BH.
Diminutive personal size, this holds 6 ounces comfortably, and weighs in at a hefty 115 grams. Condition is very good with minor with appropriate patina commensurate with age and use. Exterior finish is bright and glossy overall with patina on the inside.
