1950 Important Indonesion Yogya 900 Silver Serving Tray or Platter Large Size by H Moedakir

Spectacular hand wrought solid silver tray in very good condition. Stamped 900 (90% silver) and maker (H. Moedakir whose motto was "guaranteed 0900 real silver") on the obverse. Impressive repousse (then hand chased and etched) with scrolling floral motif around the rim and festooning down toward the platter.

This item is perfectly sized to accommodate roasts, large vegetable dishes, hors d'oeuvres, or cocktails. Versatile. Dimensions: 12" in width, 17.75" in length and 1.25" tall at the dramatic sloping lip.

Condition is outstanding with minor scuffs at the bottom from use. No bends, cracks, dings, or other apparent damage. Finish is brilliant. Weight is 972.9 grams. Listing is for tray only. Other items sold separately.
