Offered is an attractive Dutch silver chamberstick (candlestick) produced by an unidentified Dutch silversmith (mark is 'IR' under a star in a square cartouche. This is fashioned in the traditional form with a decorated finger loop and a hanger for the snuffer whose handle is formed into a heart. The base of this matching pair has a band of incised chased patterns.

Weight: 225 grams. Condition is fair with a small tear beneath the handle, missing pins at the bottom, and some patina. Well marked with the Minerva, Lion, other Dutch marks.
Dimensions: 5" x 6" x 6.5"
