C. 1890 Pair 9.25" American Sterling Candlesticks

This handsome ca. 1890 antique, sterling silver pair of candlesticks, has cut corner square bases, tapered oval form pillar, and feature removable 14-sided sconces. A very nice gift could be made of these. tapered oval form shaft with detailed ribbon engravings encircling the base and upper half of the shaft.
Stamped STERLING on the bottoms and on each sconce cup. Condition is good with a few dints and slightly out of true. Fine polish with minimal patina.
Dimensions. Each candlestick measures 9.5" tall. The candlesticks are pitch filled for balance. From a Denver estate and believed to be associated with the Graham family (monogrammed 'G'). Engraved with the SSN of a prior owner on the bottom.
