c. 1965 Turkish 800 Silver Footed Bowl (156 grams)

Simple and refined repousse silver bowl in solid 800 grade (80%) silver from Turkey. Bowl is stamped with a partially rubbed 800 mark and there are 'scratch weights' on the bottom. The design of this bowl is a delight to the eyes with its intricate patterns. Condition is very good commensurate with age and use as shown. Tiny cracks around the rim are not easily noticed. Weight is 156 grams. 1.25" x 6.5". From the Washington, DC area estate of the Foreign Service Officer and Vice Consul of Egypt. A crack is noted at the rim.
