Solid Silver Dragon Candlesticks (720 grams)

An intriguing set of solid silver candlesticks with orientalist or chinoiserie vibe. Featuring on each, two dragons rearing up and holding the twisted torches in their mouths, all upon footed pedestals. Pedestals with mythical beasts, bamboo motif and prunus. Very striking. Condition is good with evidence of old repairs at the dragon mouths etc.. Possibly a marriage and unmarked for maker. Acquired from a Dutch dealer. No returns for this item.
