Multiple-payment arrangements may be offered at the sole discretion of DC Silver on a case-by-case basis. Any such arrangement must be agreed to in writing prior to shipment. The buyer must specify the requested number of payments and submit the initial payment immediately to initiate the agreement. Failure to complete payments as agreed may result in cancellation, forfeiture of payments made, and/or relisting of the item, as permitted by law.

  • Can you put it on hold?

Items may be placed on hold for a defined and limited period of time, at the sole discretion of DC Silver. Hold duration and terms must be agreed to in advance. Items not purchased within the agreed hold period may be released and made available for sale without further notice.

  • Can I make an offer?

Offers may be submitted at the buyer’s discretion. Submission of an offer does not create a contract or obligation to sell. DC Silver reserves the right to accept, reject, or ignore any offer for any reason.

  • How do you date your items

All date estimates are opinions only, based on available comparative sales (“comps”), reference materials, industry forums, and professional experience. Dates are not guarantees and should be understood as approximations.

  • Why won't you fulfill my order?

DC Silver reserves the right to refuse service or cancel any order as permitted by law, including but not limited to circumstances involving pricing errors, fluctuations in precious-metal markets, inventory discrepancies, or item availability, and including disruptive, abusive, or disrespectful behavior If an order is canceled prior to shipment, any payments received will be refunded.

  • I want to return an item. Can I have a full refund?

Returns are accepted subject to the terms below:

-Buyer must notify DC Silver within 7 calendar days of delivery

-Returned items must be received within 14 calendar days of delivery

-Items returned outside these timeframes will not be accepted

-Shipping costs are non-refundable

-Items that have been discounted, placed on sale, or reviewed are final sale and not eligible for return

-Returned items must be in the same condition as received

-No partial refunds are issued.

  • Now that I received my item, will you refund part of the price?

DC Silver does not offer post-purchase price adjustments or partial refunds under any circumstances. Items are eligible only for return under the full refund policy above.

  • Authenticity

All items are researched and represented in good faith. However, due to the nature of antiques and collectibles, errors in attribution or authenticity may occur. Buyers may return items for any reason within 14 calendar days of receipt.

After the 14-day return period, all sales are final, and DC Silver assumes no further liability related to authenticity, attribution, or description, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  • Unclaimed / Returned Items?

If an item is returned to DC Silver as unclaimed, undeliverable, or “return to sender,” the buyer will be notified and given the opportunity to arrange reshipment at their expense.

If no response is received within 60 calendar days of notification, the item will be considered abandoned property and may be resold. No refund will be issued for abandoned items.

  • How are your policies interpreted?

All purchases, policies, and FAQs listed above are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Maryland. This does not waive any consumer protections required by law.
