1727 Sterling Silver (George I) Brandy Pan by William Fordham of London, England

Sale Price:$1,200.00 Original Price:$1,500.00
sale
A George I sterling silver brandy pan made by an English smith. The piece is cleanly stamped (extra fine hallmarks) with the maker, London (pre-1822 crowned leopard, Sterling, date stamp, and maker's mark). If Ive ever seen better English marks, I'm not sure when. I suppose they were well protected by the stout foot at the bottom of the cup. Handle is hand turned and secure. It could be walnut. Ships insured with tracking in the US. Condition is extremely good considering the age. Weight: about 120 grams Dimensions: 3.5" tall x 7.5" bow to stern Check out some of my other English sterling silver holloware here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP?ref=shop_sugg§ion_id=6409956 Or just browse around the shop! https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP
