1745 Antique French Silver Tulip Cup or Timbale by Jacques Couturier (118 g)

$650.00
A 1745 provincial silver beaker made in the jurisdiction of Tours (crowned towers above the maker mark). The losange marks and second coq mark are added later along with the warrior's head (all provincial). The original maker is a bit difficult to pin down as they always are for these older provincial French pieces. That said, there's a strong likelihood that the maker is Jacques Couturier (working 1711-1754). 118 grams 3.75" Check out some of my other French sterling silver hollowware here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP?ref=shop_sugg§ion_id=29377404 Or just browse around the shop! https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP
