Offered here is a sumptuous 1745 English pepper shaker or caster by London maker, Samuel Wood. This piece is typical of the elegant and polished work of Samuel Wood who made many casters in different sizes, often in this general design. Condition is absolutely beautiful with a pitch perfect patina. Recently recovered from a London estate.
