1770 James Gilbert Roe of Kingston, New York Silver Colonial 18th Century Teaspoon Pair

$300.00
A pair of colonial teaspoons made 1770 by James Gilbert Roe of Kingston, New York. These spoons have all the classic characteristics, and three are clearly marked for Roe (crossed 'IR' in a rectangular cartouche). A nice medium gauge spoon set. Upturned early terminal and elongated oval bowl. So difficult to find multiples of these little teaspoons from the era. Condition is fair and repairs are noted at the bowls. Monogram is: DP / CH. Weight: 16 grams Length: 4.5" Check out some of my other sterling silver flatware here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP?ref=shop_sugg§ion_id=7399760 Or just browse around the shop! https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP
