1775 Thomas Pitts I Sterling Silver George III Reticulated Epergne Basket Pair

$1,200.00
Offered here is a pair of matching c. 1775 epergne baskets by Thomas Pitts I (working 1761-1791) of London executed in sterling silver. Made to rest in the oval frames of the epergne, these baskets are elegant in their design and proportions and they do sit rather well outside of the epergne. In other words, you could certainly enjoy these alone. For anyone looking to find replacement baskets, however, these are truly essential. Condition is good antique condition. No monograms. They fit a ring that is oval and about 45mm x 70mm 296 grams 2.75": x 5.25" x 7.25" Check out some of my other UK sterling silver here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP?ref=search_shop_redirect§ion_id=6409956 Or just browse around the shop! https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP
