    Offered here is an absolutely stunning 18th century (c. 1780-1810) barrel-form American coin silver beaker engraved with the crest of the Gest / Guest family, many of whom lived in Middlesex County, VA (possibly the cup of George Guest Jr.). Also monogrammed 'GNG'. Lightly fire gilded interior and a gorgeous stepped rim. The proportions of this cup are truly ideal for the hand of a man and it fits the hand perfectly. Comfortably holds an 8 ounce pour. Stunner!
  
 
  Condition is outstanding with one professional repair to a split of the cup's original seam.
