1780-95 William Haverstick Celtic Point Coin Silver Teaspoon Lancaster Birdback (monogram 'LN')

Offered here is a coin silver teaspoon with a classic Celtic Point profile and fancy birdback. Haverstick was a well known Philadelphia silversmith before he finally settled in retirement to Lancaster, PA where he died in 1823. Collected by Winterthur Museum, Metropolitan Museum of Art, and others. Engraved with an owner's mark of 'LN'. This spoon was recovered in Lancaster, PA.
