Pair of scarce turned handle coin silver tea tongs likely made in Maryland, Delaware, or Virginia. Bright cut engraving and very good condition. These are sometimes called: "perpendicular-twist tapered arms". The only known example of this form currently offered for sale. Apparently unmarked as some other examples at auction have been.
