A fine Georgian Dublin sterling silver fork made in 1787 by the Irish silversmith Michael Keating. This elegant example reflects the refined simplicity of late 18th-century Irish flatware, with a well-balanced form and graceful proportions typical of the period. The handle is engraved with an unusual armorial crest depicting a leopard passant beneath a crown, adding strong heraldic appeal and historical interest. Measuring 8 inches in length and weighing a substantial 62 grams, this fork has an excellent feel in the hand and remains in very good antique condition with an attractive patina and wear consistent with careful use over more than two centuries. A wonderful example of early Irish Georgian silver for collectors of antique flatware and heraldic pieces.
Dimensions: 8" in length.
Weight is about 62 grams.
CODE: LRC
