1790-1800 Cobalt Enamel Bilston Patch Box

This is a lovely piece. English. Made around 1790. This one is a rare extremely plain example with a layer of cobalt enamel at the top and sides. Inside of the top had a mirror, this one cracked and desilvered. There is something stored behind the glass-- it appears to be a small piece of silver. Just lovely with such a rich blue color. Would be a nice container for a wedding ring. 1.75" in length.
