1790-1820 Silver Teaspoon by Charles Wiliam Quesnel of Jersey, Channel Islands - Sterling Silver

$45.00
A small ca 1790-1820 solid silver demitasse spoon / teaspoon by Charles William Quesnel of Jersey, Channel Islands. Channel Islands silver is very difficult to find. This spoon, made by the French maker, Quesnel was made in the old simple Huguenot pattern with with a downturned terminal. Minor surface wear, scratches and minor dints in the bowl. Hallmark is crisp and is a 'CWQ' in a rectangular cartouche. Overall, the spoon is made with a medium light gauge. An elegant and very unique drop on the back of the bowl that seems to be characteristic of Quesnel silver. Weight is 9 grams. Length is 4.75"+ Check out some of my other sterling silver flatware here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP?ref=search_shop_redirect§ion_id=7399760 Or just browse around the shop! https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP
