1790-1820 Wilmington, DE Thomas McConnell Coin Silver Teaspoon (18 g)

$100.00
Thomas McConnell of Wilmington Delaware scarce coin silver teaspoon made 1790-1810. These are graceful spoons with an 18th century profile, a heavy stem, a spade form terminal. Both are clearly stamped 'McCONNELL', and in both cases, the maker mark was double struck (subtle). Monogrammed in period script 'SJM'. Winterthur has a small handful of teaspoons by McConnell, but Delaware silver is very rare.
