Offered here is a Michael Plummer George III sterling silver butter spade or butter knife with a classic turned ebony handle. Marked P on the obverse of the blade. Gorgeous! Probably James Phipps I. Condition is good with bumps and bruises. Slight loosening at the handle. Length: 7.25” Weight: 78 grams Nearly one of a kind. Few similar examples have been found.
