1795-1805 pair of acorn coin silver tablespoon made by Joseph and Teunis D. DuBois of Monmouth County for William Garret Forbes of New York City, NY. Bright cut engraving and good condition. Condition is near perfect with light surface scratches. No monogram. Winterthur, tongs at YUAG (1985.85.275), and Winterthur among many others have DuBois silver; spoons at New York Historical Society under OBJECT NUMBER: 1911.56a-l. A piece at YUAG.
