$70.00
American c. 1810 coin silver teaspoon made in Philadelphia, PA by John Owen, Jr. (active 1804-31). The spoon has a wide Celtic point terminal and is engraved with the owner's initials in period script: 'RP'. Owen is collected by Winterthur (a single 2-light candlestick and a few odd teaspoons). Partially struck 'I·OWEN' in a rectangular cartouche at the reverse. Condition is fair with a number of bruises. Nonetheless, hard spoon to find in my experience. Recovered in England.
