Nice early 1811-15 tablespoon by John W. Gethen of Philadelphia. This spoon is monogrammed in period script with 'weakly' at the slightly downturned terminal. The mark IWG stamped simply on the reverse. Very nice gauge of silver and well constructed early fiddleback spoon.
