Classic American teaspoon by Shepherd & Boyd of Albany, NY in the fiddle pattern and with a gorgeous shell terminal. Probably made around 1815-25. Nicely engraved "JAS" in a fancy script. Downturned terminal. Marked with the 'Shepherd & Boyd' in a serrated rectangular cartouche. Condition is good with some dings in the bowl. Light surface scratches commensurate with age and use.
