1806 Sterling Georgian English Serving Spoon by Thomas Wallis

$140.00
Outstanding example of the fine quality of English silversmithing of the mid-Georgian era. This elegant large (8.5") serving spoon is hand forged from a heavy gauge of silver with a sleek profile. Handsomely monogrammed with a fancy George III era monogram. The hallmarks are crisp for London, 1806, sterling, and Thomas Wallis. Certainly among the finest English spoons I can offer. Condition is outstanding with typical fine surface scratches commensurate with age and use. Hardly any flaw at all. Exceedingly minor blunting at the tip. No bends, breaks, dints, or repairs. Weight is 53.6 grams. Check out some of my other sterling silver here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP?ref=search_shop_redirect§ion_id=7399760 Or just browse around the shop! https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP
