An early 1800's German silver cup produced in Berlin. The intricate pattern of flowers was likely produced in a rolling mill and then the cup was seamed together. Gorgeous monogram is 'UN' or 'NU'. Cup holds 6 ounces filed to the rim. Marked for Berlin assayer, J. C. S. Kessner (working 1818-54). There is a maker mark (cursive B). Condition is good, showing some repairs on the bottom (does hold liquid). Just an elegant solid silver cup.
