1819-1820 American Coin Silver Silver Teaspoon Set of Four (4) by Stephen Castan & Co. of Philadelphia

A rare partial set of 2 teaspoons by Stephen Castan & Co. of Philadelphia in good condition. These spoons are monogrammed in period script with 'LM' at the terminal. The mark generally attributed to Castan "S. C. & Co." (plain rectangular cartouche) is clean on these, though some have wear. Light surface scratches and an old patina, but no other damage noted. A light gauge of silver and well constructed fiddle fin spoons.
