Rare 1827-1835 American silver pap boat, or invalid feeder, crafted in New York by the silversmith Thomas Stebbins. This delicately formed vessel, with its gently flared lip and smooth, boat-like body, bears a crisp period engraving of the name “George Abeel”—a member of a prominent New York family with deep mercantile and legal ties.
