1830-35 J. W. Forbes Complex Fiddle Pattern Coin Silver Teaspoon Set of NY (61 g)

$300.00
A fascinating teaspoon set that carries a dead match to the Forbes Complex mark of NY [Reference: McGrew]. This piece carries the psedomarks of Star-Bust-Anchor that is attributed to J W Forbes or someone who took over the marks. Monogrammed in an early style script as 'JK'. Condition is fair and it is a medium gauge teaspoon set (one spoon with a repair). These are also marked with the J T Rice, Albany, retailer's mark. Dimensions: 5.5" and about 61 grams.
