A matching set of six c. 1835-50 teaspoons made by William Brown probably made in Baltimore. Condition is very good with the patina you expect from age and careful use with no major issues. Monogrammed with 'WMH' in a period script. A clean mark on all spoons for 'Wm BROWN'. Sharp and scarce! Brown avertised as an importer, manufacturer, and dealer in silver, plated ware and fancy goods operating out of his location on 276 Baltimore Street near McLellans Alley in Baltimore. He was also known to sell spectacles. Dimensions: 5.75" Weight: 92 grams.
