1835-81 Partial Set (6) American Coin Silver Teaspoons by James Watts of Philadelphia (retailed F. C. Polack)

$120.00
Classic set of six (6) American teaspoons by James Watts of Philadelphia and retailed in York, PA. These fiddle backs are crudely monogrammed "HD" in a fancy script. These are attractive and early spoons. Sometimes I believe the mark of a good silversmith is the care and precision to not waste silver. These spoons weigh precisely 92 grams. These makers exhibited in Philadelphia but were apparently selling their wares in York, PA. Length is a little less than 5.75". Check out some of my other sterling silver here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP?section_id=7399760 Pounce on this terrific set or just browse around the shop! https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP
