A very scarce group of John Campbell coin silver teaspoons active in Nashville 1836-1855 and Montgomery, AL 1855-1860, marked "JOHN CAMPBELL" in rectangle with a small journeyman's mark. These are heavy coin silver teaspoons (set of five (5)). Handsome early fiddleback pattern with a downturned terminal. Engraved with the monogram "AWC" on the terminal. Condition is good with minor overall wear from use such as light surface scratches and age-related patina. Slight flattening of bowls and small dings. These are made of a heavier than average gauge.
