1837 Lower Canada Half Penny Bank Token. On the obverse side there is a standing women and around her the words in French: UN PROVINCE DU BAS CANADA SOU. Translation: a province of Lower Canada. On the reverse side there is a wreath with words around it: City Bank Bank Token 1837 Half Penny. There is also floral design. Condition is fair as shown.
