1847-50 Josiah B Greene Coin Silver Tablespoon Leesburg, VA

$95.00
An 1847-50 Josiah B. Greene coin silver tablespoon made in Leesburg, VA of solid coin silver. Greene was apparently mostly a jeweler, but turned his hand to a few spoons before leaving Virginia for California around 1850. Handsome curvy fiddleback pattern with and downturned terminal. Engraved with the monogram "YEL" on the terminal. Condition is excellent with minor overall wear from use such as light surface scratches and age-related patina. No noticeable damage. This is an average gauge and sturdy enough for use. Length is about 9" Weight: 49 grams Check out some of my other sterling silver flatware here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP?ref=search_shop_redirect§ion_id=7399760 Or just browse around the shop! https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP
