1850-60 Mobile Alabama Coin Silver Tablespoon Two Pairs (4) 'Mc L.' by L'Hommedieu and Conning

Offered here is a scarce small collection of Alabama tablespoons by two makers, but bearing the same unresearched monogram of 'Mc L.'. Condition is fair, particularly on the L'Hommedieu spoons which could use some conservation to iron out the bowls. Easy fix. Nice strong maker mark stamped on each example and all four spoons marked 'MOBILE'. All four have upturned terminals. Weight: 186 grams on the pair.
