Very fine hand wrought cream jug made by the world famous silversmiths of Kashmir in the mid-nineteenth century. Cobra handle is a common motif of these makers. No makers marks (typical). Spectacular wandering foliate design with a scrolling gadroon border. Weight is 81.1 grams. Quality is mint. Museum quality piece.
