The Welsh brothers Edwards had their shop on Clark Street in Chicago employing as yet unidentified silversmiths to make their flatware during the decade of 1852-62. This handsome large fiddleback tablespoon with upturned terminal. The handle is lightly monogrammed in period script, 'WMM'. Condition is very good with no significant issues. Reverse is stamped with the JT & EME mark as well as the unidentified left-facing bust pseudomark (McGrew describes this as unidentified).
