1857 Swedish Sterling Silver Parcel Gilt Serving Set

Gorgeous pair of parcel gilt silver serving knives made by Edvard Fröberg (1827-1877) of Sweden. They are dated as 1857. These servers are beautifully engraved by hand and parcel gilt on the blades (some loss to gilding). Marked with EF, the cat's paw / triple crown silver mark, C5 (1857), and a town mark. Condition is very good and the design is timeless and elegant.
