An 1865-84 Charles Augustus Wilkins Crosby tablespoon made in Boston, Mass of solid coin silver. Handsome curvy fiddleback pattern with an upturned terminal. Marked for C.A.W. Crosby on the reverse and lavishly engraved with an owner's monogram for "MLC". Condition is excellent with minor overall wear from use such as light surface scratches and age-related patina. No noticeable damage. This is an average gauge and sturdy enough for use.
Length is about 8".
