1890-1920 Chengdu 成都 Chinese Filigree Cricket Cage in Coin Silver 紋銀 by Li Sheng 麗生

$850.00
Offered here is a Chinese silver filigree silver cricket cage or trinket box. This is a fabulous and extremely hard to find item among many whimsical items made by Chinese silversmiths. This is entirely handmade and is very intricate. Condition is good with some bending to the ball feet, but it sits flat. Nicely marked: Li Sheng 麗生 (Retailer and Manufacturer); Chengdu 成都 (Capital City of Sichuan Province); Wen Yin 紋銀 (Coin Silver) 95 grams.
