A Tai Ping sterling silver vase or open urn, a stunning example of early 20th-century Chinese export silver. This piece is elaborately decorated with full repoussé work, featuring a profusion of finely detailed flowers, including roses, chrysanthemums, and peonies, all seamlessly flowing across the body in an intricate, raised pattern. The rim and foot remain highly polished. On the bottom of the pedestal foot, marked with TAI PING STERLING. The vase demonstrates exceptional craftsmanship, with a carefully balanced form and a gently flared rim that complements the dense floral ornamentation.
