A matchbox cover by Magnus Aase of Bergen, Norway. Nice hammered texture and bearing the insignia of Arendal's Søforsikringsselskab. This item is stamped on the stem reverse with M. Aase and NM and the Aase maker mark. A split in the corner (shown) and bends that could be straightened.
