19th Century Dutch Colonial Sumatran Engraved Brass Betel or Tobacco Box

$100.00
This very old Dutch colonial-era brass betel box was produced in Sumatra 1850-1910. Interior is heavily corroded and has concretions on it-- perhaps accreted lime powder. No marks except nice hand engraved patterns. Small hole at the bottom. Opens and closes nicely. Nice one. This box measures: 2.25" x 3" x 6".
