A 1750 Samuel Boyer Boston Coin Silver Teaspoon

Offered for sale, a colonial American teaspoon by Daniel Boyer of Boston. This teaspoon is marked at the reverse with a BOYER mark in rectangular cartouche. It has a near flat terminal. Boyer was a fourth Sergeant in the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company and he was later drafted to fight the British at age 51.. Many spoons bearing Boyer's marks were actually made by neighbor, Zachariah Brigden. This spoon has been engraved for the owner 'M*B'.
