Offered is a Ming Dynasty (1368 to 1644) or possibly earlier Chinese bronze polychrome figure of a praying attendant. The figure, with traces of bright gilding and paint, is executed in bronze and is beautifully figured. He stands upon a simple square pedestal. Condition is good with some white wax residue that could be removed. Overall, a really interesting piece with a very rich and authentic patina. Dimensions: 9" tall and about 1508 grams in weight.
